Kirk Douglas (actor y padre de Michael Douglas) intentó suicidarse disparándose en la boca. El arma golpeó un diente y le dolió tanto que se detuvo. Le pareció gracioso que el dolor de muelas le impidiera suicidarse y decidió vivir.
